The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Software Engineering team you will lead privacy audit engagements and mentor junior staff while driving complex assessments across global data privacy regulations. As an Associate you will take ownership of audit planning and execution, delivering exceptional results while communicating effectively with stakeholders. This position provides a chance to deepen your knowledge in privacy and compliance while making a significant impact on organizational practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct privacy audits and assessments in line with global regulations
- Mentor and guide junior team members in audit processes
- Plan and execute audit strategies to achieve quality outcomes
- Communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders
- Analyze compliance issues and recommend improvements
- Stay updated on data privacy laws and practices
- Collaborate with teams to implement audit recommendations
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical practices
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
- 2 years of experience in privacy or IT audit, risk management, or compliance
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
- Advanced certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CISA, or CISSP preferred
- Excelling in privacy risk assessments and compliance gap identification
- Demonstrating hands-on experience with UCF, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks
- Leading independent audit planning and execution
- Communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams
- Innovating audit processes and leveraging analytics
- Mentoring junior staff in audit methodology and quality
- Familiarity with privacy automation platforms and data discovery tools
