The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you will lead end-to-end privacy audit engagements, driving complex assessments across global data privacy and U.S. health data regulations. As a Senior Associate you will analyze intricate problems, mentor junior staff, and maintain elevated standards while building meaningful client connections and navigating increasingly complex situations. This role offers the chance to refine audit methodologies, enhance productivity, and deepen your technical knowledge in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead privacy audit engagements focusing on global data privacy and U.S. health data regulations
- Analyze complex issues and provide actionable insights to enhance audit methodologies
- Mentor junior staff to foster their professional growth and technical skills
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs
- Navigate intricate situations while adhering to standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Continuously refine technical knowledge in a dynamic environment
- Uphold compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
- 4 years of experience in privacy or IT audit, risk management, or compliance
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
- Advanced certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CISA, or CISSP preferred
- Excelling in privacy risk assessments and compliance gap identification
- Demonstrating hands-on experience with UCF, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks
- Innovating audit processes and leveraging analytics
- Communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and project teams
- Managing multiple tasks and delivering quality results under tight deadlines
- Mentoring junior staff in audit methodologies and deliverable quality
- Prior audit experience in healthcare or life sciences organizations preferred
