Vice President, Data Privacy

Provide privacy subject matter expert support to the business to help them fulfil their regulatory and organizational requirements to protect personal information and uphold the privacy rights of clients and employees, while enabling innovation. Design, develop, enhance and operationalize enterprise-level privacy policies/procedures, processes and controls. Support the deployment of privacy management technology and other tools (automation) to enhance data privacy controls. Work with key stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Business platforms/functions, Engineering) to implement regulatory compliance initiatives. Bachelors or advanced degree (JD or MBA) or the equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in a privacy role Understanding of key privacy laws in EMEA and APAC (e.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (PECR), Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements Team player with an open and collaborative approach to delivering required outcomes Financial services industry experience, CIPP certification, e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPP/A, CIPT, and/or privacy program experience
