Agoda’s Legal team is well suited to take on the challenges presented, adopting a proactive mindset to tackle challenges and solve problems. We are quick on our feet, decisive, and collaborate with multiple departments. The opportunity: 

As a Data Privacy Intern – you will be part of a leading and innovative team responsible for the legal risk areas of data privacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. You'll be engaged on relevant aspects of programmatic and advisory work in these cutting-edge legal areas working alongside a world-class team and in a global working environment.

In this role, you'll get to: 

  • Support the improvement of privacy, cybersecurity, and AI programs, including vendor risk management, training, and internal audits.
  • Assist with projects addressing new or changing privacy, cybersecurity, and AI laws, helping to interpret and implement regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to advisory work, such as risk impact assessments for new initiatives or vendors.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance measures and prepare clear reports and presentations for stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period.
  • Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Great English communication skills in both spoken and written forms
  • Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical acumen
  • Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment

It's great if you have: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Formulas and functions
