GFT Poland is looking to recruit a local Privacy Officer to meet its obligations under the European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this role Country Privacy Officer Poland will monitor compliance and data practices internally to ensure the business and its function comply with RODO and GDPR requirements and guidelines. You will work closely with global Data Protection Team and with the Legal, HR, Information Security, and other corporate functions both on internal and global levels.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor adherence to RODO and local data protection laws
- Serve as point of contact for supervisory authorities and individuals whose data is processed by GFT
- Draft and implement procedures related to processing of personal data
- Maintain required records and support documentation including clauses, notices, and plan documents
- Liaise with other departments that process personal data
- Facilitate Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Assess and analyse agreements and contracts of new services or suppliers
- Hold internal audits for processes including personal data handling
- Arrange and train colleagues on data protection
- Participate in Global Privacy Officer Commitee
Requirements:
- Legal background and/or proven experience in privacy and data protection
- Certification in Data Protection and Privacy is a plus (e.g. CIPP/E)
- Interest in Information Security and Responsible AI
- Understanding of data protection laws and AI regulations
- Understanding of Software Development and/or Professional Services Business is a plus
- Willing to advise on data processing activities
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ethical with the ability to remain impartial and report all noncompliances
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creative problem solver and/or courageous self-starter
- Very good communication skills (including good English skills)
