We’re looking for a Privacy Officer - Central Compliance Program Support to join our Central Privacy Team in Amsterdam.
As a Privacy Officer – Central Compliance Program Support, you’ll be responsible for general support to the central privacy office as part of the compliance team, with a key focus on privacy matters like DPIA, Incident Management, Data Inventory, data breach and DSR support, contract follow-ups and overview maintenance of international privacy and AI law developments, aiding in training and communication initiatives, ensuring a smooth collaboration between the privacy office and business partners, providing support to document management, risk management and audit initiatives and compliance project management support. Next to that AI related compliance activities are becoming more and more relevant, which will lead to an increased need for support in AI related compliance advice.
In more details, you will:
Support risk mitigation action follow-up and completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments
Support timely response to Data Subject Requests, Data breach incidents and support continuous up to date keeping of the Data inventory
Maintain (periodic) overview of international privacy law developments and conduct analysis of impact to Signify, initiate change elements where required
Maintain central repositories of key processes, documents and communications and ensure they are kept-up-to date
Provide contract management support, support audit and risk management initiatives and engage in tooling maintenance
Provide support to the privacy office on operational matters, such as milestone tracking, up to date keeping of documents and document control
Draft training and communication materials under leadership of a more senior member of the team
Support the CPO/DPO directly on operational matters
Support on AI Act and other similar data compliance related activities
Support compliance project management activities
A Master’s degree, preferably in Legal studies
Any demonstrable interest in compliance and in particular in privacy and AI such as through internship, study curriculum choice, or thesis topic choice
Communicative and collaborative personality with a ‘can-do attitude’
1 or more IAPP privacy certifications and experience with privacy tools preferred
Analytical, organized, able to grasp privacy’s legal complexities and variations
Ability to think in milestones and organize and coordinate progress
