Position: Paralegal and Data Privacy Analyst

Industry: Legal & Data Privacy Consulting (compliance services)

Compensation: $1,200–$1,500 per month depending on seniority

Working Hours: Full-time, aligned with Eastern Standard Time

Location Preference: Philippines, South Africa, or Latin America

Start Date: As soon as possible

This organisation is a Jamaica-based Governance, Risk & Compliance consultancy founded in 2009. Their mission is to help organizations adopt strong privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and anti-money laundering practices and to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 

They serve both private and public sector clients, often conducting workshops, training sessions, and conferences to promote awareness and good practices. 

The company emphasizes professionalism, ethical conduct, and helping clients embed privacy and compliance into their organizational culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review documents and compliance deliverables
     
  • Manage client-facing conversations professionally
     
  • Track deadlines and ensure workflows stay on schedule
     
  • Conduct legal and data privacy research
     
  • Maintain compliance frameworks and service quality
     

Required Skills:

  • Legal or compliance background, preferably in data privacy
     
  • Research, drafting, and client service experience
     
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiarity with project management tools
     
  • Strong written and spoken English
