Junior Legal Manager & Data Privacy Officer

Your Role

• You will provide specialized legal advice in the life sciences sector, focusing on regulatory compliance and contract negotiations to meet business objectives.
• You'll implement the Data Privacy program in Brazil and collaborate with regional data privacy professionals for best practices.
• Your responsibilities include drafting and negotiating various contracts related to life sciences, conducting legal research, and mitigating legal risks with internal stakeholders.
• You'll represent the organization in tender proceedings and support commercial initiatives legally.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes will be key, as will mentoring junior staff on life sciences and data privacy laws.
• You will also analyze industry trends to proactively address legal implications.

Who You Are

• You hold a law degree and have proven experience in regulations and data privacy issues, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related sectors.
• Essential experience as a business partner working in the legal field, focusing on private and public contracts, as well as bidding processes.
• You are able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment and are duly registered with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Familiarity with multinational legal cultures and a strategic mindset are crucial.
• You possess strong communication skills and can effectively implement and promote a comprehensive Data Privacy program.
• Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish is a plus.
