Information Security and Privacy Specialist

Purpose of Position:
For our office in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security and Privacy Specialist with a proven 
track record in both Information Security and Privacy. We are looking for an ideal candidate with strong expertise in 
cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 2.0 and ISO 27001, combined with hands-on experience in security solutions 
including Antivirus, EDR, and Antispam, as well as solid technical knowledge of network topology.
In addition, the candidate should have a deep understanding of privacy regulations, particularly GDPR and NIS 2, and 
be able to provide guidance in decision-making processes and oversee cases involving privacy incidents.

Key Responsibilities Include: 
• CYBERSECURITY 
• Provide strategic and technical cybersecurity support for Braskem’s Europe locations. 
• Lead cybersecurity solution implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs. 
• Evaluate projects, network topologies, and vendors to ensure compliance with Braskem’s minimum information security requirements. 
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity guidelines and procedures.
• Act as the focal point for Braskem’s Threat Intelligence service, identifying and mitigating risks within the environment and coordinating internal investigative actions to determine root causes of incidents affecting Braskem’s brand and reputation. 
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among Braskem team members located in Europe. 
• Perform penetration testing in Braskem’s corporate environments to identify potential vulnerabilities, issue detailed reports, define action plans, and follow up on remediation efforts. 
• Conduct cybersecurity audits based on industry-standard frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST 2.0. 
• Develop and manage strategic cybersecurity performance indicators. 

PRIVACY 
• Support the implementation and maintenance of privacy and data protection programs. 
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs). 
• Monitor and interpret local and European privacy regulations. 
• Act as a point of contact for international stakeholders, fostering clear and empathetic communication. 
• Participate in training sessions and workshops on data protection. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal data protection processes. 

Requirements
• Practical knowledge of data protection regulations, especially GDPR. 
• Advanced English 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a friendly and collaborative attitude. 
• Genuine interest in learning and growing within the privacy field. 
• Previous experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
