Our client is a leading financial services company in Vietnam who is looking for experienced talent to join their firm.

1. Strategy & Planning

Lead the strategic direction, development, communication, and execution for the Enterprise Data and Analytics Division:

  • Strategic Planning: Champion the development of the annual business plan, key objectives, service development direction, and budgetary requirements for the Division. Ensure alignment with the organization's short-term and long-term strategy, market competitiveness, customer needs, partner landscape, and targets set by the Executive Board/CEO.

  • Operational Model Leadership: Direct the implementation of the Division's organizational and business models to enhance market standing and achieve sustained short, medium, and long-term growth and profitability.

  • Performance Management: Lead and approve the business allocation plan for subordinate departments/units. Control and support direct reports in establishing and cascading key performance indicators (KPIs) to their teams.

  • Performance Monitoring & Adjustment: Oversee progress and implement necessary adjustments to the annual action plan/strategy to ensure desired outcomes, staying responsive to evolving market conditions, industry trends, competitor actions, customer demands, and changes in regulatory frameworks or strategic partnerships.

  • Data Governance & Management:

    • Formulate and implement the overarching data management strategy under the direction of the leadership board.

    • Establish and enforce data governance standards, policies, and procedures.

    • Standardize business analysis tools and drive the maximization of automation in business intelligence and reporting.

    • Develop and implement robust policies and protective measures for information assets, especially concerning data security and compliance with relevant local data protection laws.

  • Executive Engagement: Participate in relevant high-level executive meetings (e.g., Executive Committee, Strategy Council, Strategy Planning) and other Executive and Leadership Board sessions as required.

2. Business Management & Operations

  • General Operations Oversight: Provide executive leadership and direct the overall operational activities of the Division.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Supervise adherence to both internal organizational policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Risk Mitigation: Oversee the proper application of operational limits and risk management protocols in alignment with the Company's current regulations.

3. Resource & Talent Management

People Management

Provide essential leadership to empower direct and indirect subordinates to successfully meet the objectives of the Data and Analytics function and the Company as a whole.

  • Workforce Planning: Develop comprehensive staffing and resource allocation plans.

  • Talent Strategy: Collaborate with Human Resources to implement effective strategies for recruitment, training, succession planning, career path development, employee recognition programs, and performance management within the Division.

  • Retention & Development: Focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top performers while actively working to enhance overall employee satisfaction.

Corporate Culture

  • Cultural Leadership: Serve as a role model in fostering the desired corporate culture. Ensure accurate and thorough execution of cultural implementation plans, promoting consistent understanding and application of the Company’s core values and behavioral standards by all employees.

4. Other Responsibilities

  • Execute additional strategic and operational duties as assigned by the superior management.



Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • A University Degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a closely related field.

  • A Master's Degree in Business or Finance is strongly preferred.

Relevant Expertise

  • Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Data Management or Management Information Systems (MIS) within the Banking or Financial Services sector (focusing on Products & Services).

  • Leadership: At least 3 years spent in a senior or executive management position.

  • Technical Acumen: Profound knowledge in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Data Infrastructure: Deep expertise in Data Warehouse architecture and comprehensive Data Management principles.
