How you succeed
What you do
-Advise on the Bank’s compliance with relevant data protection laws across our key markets.
-Develop and enhance agreements to ensure data protection concerns are addressed.
-Act as a point of contact with data protection regulators and the Bank’s internal stakeholders.
-Foster a data protection culture by delivering ongoing training.
-Serve as the bank’s key decision maker in regulatory notifications for PDPA issues.
-Oversee data protection impact assessments and work with stakeholders to implement controls.
-Develop, review and enhance data protection frameworks and policies in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws.
-Any other task as assigned by the Head of Legal and Group DPO from time to time.
-Hold yourself to high ethical standards, embrace technology, and treat personal data with respect and humility.
Who you are
- A good degree in law.
-CIPM, CIPP or other relevant data protection certifications are highly advantageous.
-At least 3-5 years of experience advising on data protection or privacy.
-Excellent communication with data subjects, regulators and other organisations.
-Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-Agile and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
