An opportunity has been created for a Data Protection and AI Compliance Correspondent to support our InnoHub Platform, which operates across multiple jurisdictions, including France, the UK, Belgium, Italy, the US, and Australia, and serves clients in these regions. 

As the Platform’s Data Protection Correspondent (DPC), you will act as the primary point of contact for all data protection and AI compliance matters. In this role, you will ensure adherence to Group standards and regulatory requirements while driving a “privacy and AI compliance by design” approach across Platform operations. 


Responsibilities and Core Duties:

Group Compliance Programs 
  • Implement Group data protection and AI compliance programs to meet compliance standards on the Platform and report progress  
  • Define and execute a compliance roadmap to address identified gaps on the Platform 
Privacy and AI Compliance by Design 
  • Ensure adherence to privacy & AI compliance-by-design and by-default principles across Platform solutions and maintain compliance over time (run activities) 
  • Collaborate with IT teams to embed security, anonymisation, and deletion practices into systems and data lifecycle management 
Risk Assessments and Compliance Deliverables: 
  • Conduct privacy and AI risk analysis, legitimate interest assessments, along with mitigation plans, ensuring quality in deliverables to meet Group standards 
  • Prepare and update templates related to data protection & AI documentation (Data processing inventory, Information notices, consent forms, etc.) 
Governance and Awareness 
  • Develop and update Platform procedures in line with Group policies 
  • Promote compliance culture through tailored awareness sessions 
  • Participate in governance forums for visibility on compliance requirements and efforts, risk escalation with mitigation plans and strategic alignment 
Operational Support (Tooling, Contracts, DSRs, Data breaches/AI-related incidents): 
  • Deploy Group compliance tools (e.g., OneTrust) and support related compliance project prioritization where it may interact with the Platform’s Product and Tech roadmaps 
  • Assist with contract reviews, data protection agreements and AI clauses 
  • Coordinate handling of Data Subject Requests, data breaches and AI-related incidents 
Regulatory Monitoring:  
  • Track regulatory developments in data protection and AI compliance, and assess impact on Platform operations 


Experience and Key Skills Required:

  • Qualified in technology law and/or professional certification in personal data protection and/or AI governance and compliance. 
  • Proven, stable experience in a role with significant exposure to personal data protection issues, ideally within a law firm, an international organisation, or a Data Protection Authority. 
  • Solid, up‑to‑date knowledge of regulations relating to Personal Data and Artificial Intelligence (including GDPR and the EU AI Act), with demonstrated ability to translate legal requirements into practical, operational guidance 
  • Experience working within a software product development environment. 
  • Experience in the payments sector or broader regulatory ecosystems is an advantage. 
  • Highly adaptable with a collaborative mindset. Able to lead and contribute to cross‑functional projects and work effectively with diverse, international teams across a wide range of expertise. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong program/project coordination abilities.  
  • Demonstrated capability in driving operational efficiency, prioritisation, and structured execution. 
  • Able to independently assess and quantify risks, identify critical issues, prioritise actions, and provide context‑appropriate recommendations or alignments. 
  • Pragmatic problem solving with an efficiency-oriented approach promoting practical solutions that balance operational needs, business objectives, legal requirements, and internal policies 
  • Strong results-driven mindset with the ability to support informed decision-making, drive alignment among stakeholders, and facilitate clear escalation and coordination mechanisms. 
  • Fluent in English (written and oral), enabling daily interaction with international teams

The Interview Process:

  • One-hour online screening and technical interview with the Talent Partner and members of the InnoHub Leadership team.  
  • Technical online interview with the Group DPO based in Paris. 
  • In-person interview with the CTO and CPO in our London office. 
  • 30-minute introduction call with the B&E Product Compliance Director.
